Our client is a professional industry body with a primary focus on developing, promoting and delivering high quality services to its national membership base.

 

The position, based in the organisations head office in Canberra, reports to the Executive Director and involved the following responsibilities:

 

  • Managing the day to day operations and activities of the office, including leading the finance, IT and Human Resources teams
  • Coordination of all aspects of staff management and training for the office, including performance evaluations and procedures
  • Supporting the Executive Director and providing leadership and direction for staff along with the development of annual operating plans in line with the organisation’s objectives

 

The successful applicant will have strong leadership and management skills, experience working within corporate services environment and understanding of accounting, financial management and contract management practices.
