Due to a change in organisational reporting structure an exciting new opportunity has been created to join this global organisation where you can grow and develop your career.
Reporting into the finance manager you will take responsibility for the financial month end accounting and consolidations for the brisbane operations. You will take a lead in making sure the reporting meets the IFRS requirements and ensure Audits are ran smoothly. There will be supervision of the Assistant Accountant where you will provide mentoring and leadership to help develop their skills.
Other responsibilities will be to complete month end journals and reconciliations through the General Ledgers and prepare cashflow reporting for the international parent company.
Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified with post qualification experience and proven exposure to working to IFRS reporting. The role requires a high level of accuracy and detail as you will be working as a mentor to junior positions. Past experience working with ERP systems and consolidation packages would be a distinct advantage.
