This position will see you become a part of a team that is responsible for regional (AP) management reporting, forecasting and financial analysis at a global Investment Manager. In essence, the team provides the business management and board with timely, accurate and meaningful reports, analysis and presentations which in turn support the management in their strategic decision making processes. You will be collating, consolidating and reviewing information, data and reports from various business functions and also participating in more ad hoc based projects. Consistency and efficiency are key to your success as is the mindset of thinking outside the box and ability to analyse “what if” scenarios. This is a relatively junior but imperative role that provides the team with invaluable support in all aspects of their work. Despite the role being challenging and a steep learning curve for anyone coming on board, some of the work can be repetitive and somewhat tedious at times which calls for a positive attitude and the willingness to simply “get things done”.

We are seeking a bright Accounting/Commerce/Finance graduate who is either part-qualified (CA/CPA) or has plans to take on these studies in the short-term. You will possess 2-3 years experience in Accounting within Professional Services, ideally gained from a Financial Services context. Your communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills will be highly developed and you will feel confident with dealing with stakeholders at all levels. You will have an inquiring mindset, be intuitive, have initiative and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, culturally diverse team environment. Local experience is essential.
