We are currently seeking applications from highly motivated candidates for the position of Energy Efficiency Officer to join our Youth Family & Housing Services team.You will be passionate about delivering real outcomes for eligible families in reducing their energy use, enabling environmental benefits and decreasing the cost of energy and water.Coordination of the program for Northside Community Service including, but not limited to:Promoting the service and recruiting of potential Outreach clients;Assessing client eligibility and the recommendation of clients for a home energy and water assessment, education and retrofit;Conducting basic home energy assessments;Provision of energy efficient appliances to eligible clients;Disposal of appliances that are replaced; andProvision of education and advice to improve the understanding of energy and water use and suggesting changes in behaviour that could reduce consumption and cost of electricity, gas and water use.Assisting appropriate clients to access home energy and water efficiency assessments, education and retrofitting.Implementing quality assurance and reporting processes, such as client satisfaction surveys and conducting post retrofit inspections.Collecting data and submitting monthly reports to ESDD as outlined in program guidelines and deed of grant; monitoring program expenditureYou will have a demonstrated ability to work with a range of stakeholders and clients from a variety of backgrounds, have a demonstrated understanding of energy saving methods and be highly organised. You will have a high level of computer literacy and you must possess excellent relationship development, negotiations and communication (both written and oral) skills.This is a full time position offer on a three (3) year contract.
