This contractor has a diversified portfolio split between the booming resources sector and the commercial civil projects. Due to the strength of their relationships as well as their history in hitting project deli verables they are looking to expand their staff to manage ongoing and shortly commencing projects.
One of their key clients has recently awarded them an $80m package focused on earthworks and in-ground services. This project is based in Newman and is working to a 15:6 roster that comes with a 40% Site Uplift. With the business relationship very strong and more projects coming their way shortly, we are currently looking to expand the team with the employment of an experienced Project Manager for this Newman Site.
You
Strong experience in people management is of paramount importance for this role. This contractor is a leader in client relationship management, quality and safety standards and they are now looking to partner with a leader in Project Management to see their high standards maintained.
In terms of technical skill, you will need to have strong experience in Earthworks as well as in-ground services with a firm grasp of finance management. A keen understanding of where costs can be reduced within the project to maximise return is helpful.
Coupled with this is the need for you to be communicative and collaborative to ensure the growth and development of your team on site, whilst maintaining a strong relationship with the client.
