Currently we are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to manage and plan all projects around Mining and manufacturing, with a history in scheduling/planning you will participate in the preparation of estimates and tenders associated with project opportunities along with effective, consistent, accurate and timely communication amongst various stakeholders.
 
Working within a professional and dedicated team you will be primarily responsible for:

• Assisting Project Managers in creating short-term schedules and monitoring such schedules to determine impact on master schedules
• Serve as technical advisor for the solution of difficult production problems.
• Identify scheduling software training needs among employees and provide training when necessary.
• Incorporate Resource and/or Cost Loading data into schedules as required.
• Incorporate mine planning requirements and sequencing into the master schedule.
• Optimising resources to meet cost constraints and enhance the company’s position.

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver profitable projects to time, cost, quality and budget.

To be considered, the successful applicant will have a number of key qualities:

• Educational and relevant degrees in engineering or project management.
• Minimum of five years in similar role.
• History in delivering large scale projects across the mining industry.
• Working knowledge of computer scheduling programs (i.e. Primavera, Microsoft Project, SureTrak)
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislations (e.g. OHS legislation and risk management)
