Maintenance Superintendent
- Monday to Friday - 7:00am - 4:00pm
- $80 - $100 an hour
- DIDO or FIFO (not included)
The Company:
This company is one of Australia's Largest Independent Coal Companies that produces well over 8 million tonnes of coal per year from this expansive open cut coal operation. The mine also has coal reserves allowing production levels to be maintained until at least 2025. They are going through an exciting growth phase at the moment and require a HME Maintenance Superintendent to support their growth.
The Position:
In this role you will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager and you will be required to manage the repair, service and maintenance of the company's fleet of equipment. This involves the management of any of the company's sites including staff and contractor direction and control in order to achieve cost effective, quality and timely outcomes.
The Responsibilities:
It is essential that you have strong Communication and Leadership skills as you will be dealing with both managers and subordinates. You will be required to ensure all safety, quality and budgetary requirements are met as well as compliance all contractual and legislative standards.
The Qualifications:
- Trade qualifications
- Min 5 years HME supervisory experience in a resources environment
- S1, S2, S3 + G2
- Sound knowledge of statutory laws and regulations governing maintenance at open cut coal mines
- Proven experience in developing achievable budgets and schedules
- Previous Contract Management experience
