The Role:

As the Pipeline Design Engineer you will be based in a new office within a reputable engineering consultancy based in Melbourne, working on prestigious intrastate & interstate gas transmission projects.

You will be responsible for FEED, detailed calculation, design & drafting of Pipelines & their related facilities along with assisting with reviewing & developing technical reports, drawings, specifications & datasheets.

APPLY NOW if you:

Possess experience in the above capacity as an engineer with an oil & gas consultancy or operator.

Hold tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Civil or Chemical Engineering.

Knowledge of the Australian gas industry including pipeline codes & standards, AS2885 & /or working knowledge of relevant international standards (ISO, API, ASME etc.)

Proficient in using AutoCAD &/or other 3D modelling softwares such as CADWorx, AutoPlant, PDS, PDMS.

Are an excellent communicator, confident to liaise with developers, local councils, energy & network operators etc.
