You’ve got at least ten to fifteen years experience, most recently as a Group Account Director, Managing Director, or a Senior Strategic Executive, and you’re looking for a fresh challenge. You will have a working knowledge of the following client industries: FMCG, Alcoholic Beverages, Pharmaceutical, Retail and Corporate Branding.
Your skills include
• strong financial management experience including costing and monitoring budgets
• a proven track record of regularly meeting or exceeding revenue targets
• experience presenting, influencing and delivering at senior client level
• substantial and recent exposure to the digital industry
• strong knowledge of research and managing creative through the research process
• experience overseeing entire project management
• experience at channel planning
• a tertiary qualification, preferably MBA
You may also have
• 4 plus years online marketing experience
• digital and social media experience
• innovation and product development experience
What you’ll be doing
If you’re the successful candidate, you’ll be taking a lead role in every facet of managing the organisation.
You will be in charge of all client relationships – from strategic direction to client education about market developments. You’ll work directly with an accomplished team of Strategists, Creatives, Account Directors, Brand Activation, Promotional and Digital Specialists.
You will be a champion of creativity and strategy. You’ll work with your team to develop cut-through strategies, and articulate those strategies into persuasive proposals. You’ll help crack the solutions that deliver superior ‘Through The Line’ campaigns – covering everything from mainstream advertising to brand activation and online. You’ll encourage people to think outside their disciplines, but you’ll also demand greater results from them. You’ll grow the team as you grow the business.
This is Directorship in the truest sense of the word. You’ll spearhead the drive for new clients, seeking business opportunities in the Australian and overseas markets. You’ll be responsible for developing new initiatives to maximise the return from our existing clients, and leverage growth by building the brands in our stable.
You will be replacing one of the Owner-Directors who is stepping aside after 11 years, and you will be expected to bring your own style and stamp to the organisation. If the partnership is successful, you will be offered equity share holding.
