This local Government organisation has strong ties with their community. Placemaking, a sense of well being and sustainability is extremely important to this council. As such, they have an opening for a specialist Urban Designer.
Working at a senior Band 7 level, you will have the opportunity to design more complex townships using extensive stakeholder analysis. Armed with a high level of political nous, you will use your strong technical skills to deliver on council projects and the capital works program. Given this is a senior role, you will also be given the opportunity to step into an Acting Team Leader role as required.
You have proven experience working in a similar role and a passion for community interaction. A pure professional, you are keen to manage both projects and people and will have an impeccable track record at mentor level or above. Your stakeholder engagement is your key core skill, complemented by your technical background within landscape architecture or urban design. Pivotal to the role is your understanding of people and places.
