COORDINATOR, HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAM Workforce Unit State Headquarters, Rozelle Health Manager Level 2 Permanent Full Time Position No. 109/10 Total remuneration package valued at $99,105pa (including salary $75,720pa to $89,810pa, annual leave loading and employers contribution to superannuation).
This vacancy is a new position created as a result of a restructure.
Duties: The Coordinator of the Health and Wellness Program is responsible for the effective implementation and co-ordination of the Death and Disability Award Health and Wellness Program and fostering a healthy work environment. The Health and Wellness Program comprises an integrated set of strategic policies and initiatives that foster organisational and personal commitment to health and well-being through proactive and preventative activities. The Coordinator is responsible for the strategic and operational planning of the Health and Wellness Program and for ensuring ongoing implementation, evaluation and modification of the Program.
Selection Criteria: - Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health related discipline and/or experience in staff health and wellbeing management, occupational health and safety or risk management.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Ambulance Service of NSW Death and Disability Award.
- Strategic development and program development skills including conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated planning and organising skills in a high volume work environment.
- Effective and strong interpersonal skills, including interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
- High level written communication skills, including policies and procedures, management briefings and reports.
- Computer literacy including knowledge of HR Information systems, word-processing, Excel.
- Understanding and experience in equity and customer service with a commitment to ethical practices.
