HR Generalist | North Ryde
- North Ryde Location + On-Site Parking
- Monthly RDO + 17.5% Annual Leave Loading

The Organisation
My client is a reputable community based not for profit organisation located in North Ryde and they are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their close knit Human Resources tea m in the North Ryde head office. This is a rapidly growing organisation with services offered in Greater Sydney, Central Coast, Hunter, Mid North Coast and much more. With over 700 employees in NSW alone, this position would suit a highly motivated individual with an open minded approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Job descriptions, arrange appropriate advertising, conduct interviews, reference checks, and complete all associated documentation to ensure the recruitment of skilled and qualified staff
- Reinforce organisation changes locally within your staff client group
- Monitor and maintain a performance appraisal system to ensure all staff are regularly appraised by managers
- Provide advice and recommendation for addressing issues including use of work performance tools
- Guide managers through the disciplinary process and by completing necessary documentation
- Promote an environment that is conducive to personal and professional development of staff
- Coach and guide managers and supervisors on general HR matters
- Provide advice on conditions of employment, agreements and awards
- Manage Workers Compensation issues and tasks in accordance with procedures
- Complete all relevant HR administration (e.g. job descriptions, employment change letters, request for recruitment, separations etc.)
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis as least once annually
Selection Criteria
- Minimum 3 years HR experience in a similar position
- Bachelors Degree in HR or related field is essential
- Experience in end to end recruitment of staff
- Sound knowledge of OH&S and Work Cover
- Employee relations and performance management experience
- Understanding of current employment law, legislation and obligations
- Current NSW driver's licence and access to a car as multi-site visits will be a part of this role
Remuneration & Benefits
- Base salary $65,000 + 9% Superannuation
- Car Allowance of $8363 on top of base salary
