Windows Platform Infrastructure Developer

My client with a strong global presence in China is looking for a Windows Platform Infrastructure Developer who can be part of their Shanghai Technology group with in the Banking and Finance Sector.
The successful candidate will have experience working for large Global Organisations.
You wil l join a distributed team of high-calibre systems engineers working in a global Microsoft Windows platform engineering team. The team designs and engineers Windows desktop, server, and virtualization infrastructure globally, including build and management systems covering over 100,000 desktops and 6,000 servers.

To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • A minimum of three years development experience in C++, C#, or VB.
  • Good understanding of Windows operating system and infrastructure fundamentals
  • Experience working in an engineering or development capacity with one or more of the following Windows enterprise technologies:
o Windows Server 2008, Active Directory (AD)
o Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
o Windows Deployment Services (WDS)
o VMWare ESX, Microsoft Virtual Server/PC
o Microsoft App-V
o Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
o Microsoft SQL Server
o Microsoft Exchange
o Systems management development experience in one or more of the following languages: C#, Powershell, VB, C++
o Experience with source code control systems such as Perforce, and software issue tracking systems such as Jira
o Strong technical ability in solving low-level Windows problems, including software and OS debugging
o Ability to write clear technical reference documentation and runbook documentation

Skills desired:
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Systems Developer (MCSD)
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft .NET Framework
  • Windows application/infrastructure code testing experience, including test plan creation and automated testing
  • Understanding of/experience with SDLC methodology and software design patterns
  • Understanding of product engineering lifecycle and CMMI
  • Basic knowledge of PC and server hardware technologies including server blades, thin clients and HPC workstations
  • Knowledge of SAN, NAS, DFS
  • Working knowledge of Clustering technologies such as Microsoft Cluster Server (MSCS), Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM), Veritas Cluster Server (VCS)

Education Level - Bachelors Degree

Must speak fluent English and Chinese
