    My Client is looking for an experienced Web Developer to develop and maintain various sections of the Organisation\'s Intranet, Internet site, related search engines and web applications, providing technical and design advice and support to users. You will

    • Develops and maintains various sections of the organisation\'s Intranet, Internet site, related search engines and web applications
    • Liaises with clients to gather requirements for websites and provide web design advice
    • Provides support to users with \'self publishing\' access to Intranet and Internet sites for which their area is responsible
    • Troubleshoots technical issues with the Intranet, Internet site, related search engines and web applications
    • Works with the Team Leader, Web Unit and other team members to achieve solutions to complex web development issues

    Please address the following Selection Criteria when applying

    • Demonstrated experience in developing Intranet and Internet websites
    • Demonstrated MS application skills including Word and Excel
    • Demonstrated web developer tool skills including the use of Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks⁄Photoshop and web content management system administration
    • Demonstrated experience in the use of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
    • Demonstrated experience in client liaison and support
    • Demonstrated experience in designing websites and understanding of principles of best practice in web accessibility, navigation and usability
    • Demonstrated ability to work on several projects simultaneously, manage time effectively and work to tight timelines
    • Possess highly developed oral and written communication skills
    • Achieved tertiary information technology qualification, and⁄or at least 2 years work experience in IT
