My client is a well established Infrastructure Consulting company with a wide range of clients (Carriers, Vendors etc) across the Telco sector. As business continues to grow an opportunity has emerged to work as a Team/Project Lead on the Telstra aspects of their business.
I am looking for candidates with at least 5yrs experience working for Telstra and who understand the processes and stakeholders, ideally in the Network Design and Construction group. Candidates must understand internal Telstra processes and from a technical perspective have experience with MITS, DBOR, TCSS etc. You will be responsible for engaging with Telstra project managers in the Network Infrastructure & Operations/Construction space, identifying projects and then managing those projects from end to end and delivering on them.
I am looking for candidates who can work with the levels of compliance and governance associated with Telstra projects and thrive in this environment and who are self-starters, outcomes (not task) orientated and who are focused around delivery on projects.
Candidates must be able to manage 3rd party resources as well as internal resources and have solid Project Management and Vendor Management experience. This role would suit someone with deep Telstra experience & who has operated at the Operational end of Telco previously. This is a hybrid role though, in the sense that you will need to combine good knowledge of Telstra procsses and systems with a good grasp of the Network/Operations Design space & have the ability to lead teams & projects made up of people with diverse skill-sets and backgrounds.
