    A position is available in the Corporate Law team of the Legal Services Branch for a commercial lawyer. The Corporate Law team provides practical, outcome-focused legal advice and support across a broad range of areas such as contract law and tendering, admini strative law, IT and IP law, litigation, employment law (including OH&S), FOI & privacy, general commercial law and legal policy issues that arise from these areas of practice. As a legal officer in the Corporate Law team, you will be required to provide timely legal advice and prepare Ministerial correspondence, Cabinet submissions and other written reports and briefings to clients. Your advice must be clear, accurate and appropriate to meeting the client\'s needs. You will also be required to assist in monitoring and reporting on the performance and quality of advice of contracted legal firms in meeting the needs of Departmental clients.
