Our client, a long established and successful apparel importer wholesaling to a range of retailers including majors requires a motivated and experienced person to join a dedicated team. Activities include:

.Coordinating and placing  production orders with China manufacturers
.Following up shipment samples
.Confirming manufacturer delivery dates and make shipment bookings
.Liaising with customs broker re shipments
.Handling shipment documents including approval of customs entry and advising customs broker and organising duty payments
.Preparing export documention
.Advising freight forwarder and China manufacturer of details of dispatched goods
.Processing duty drawback documentation

The ideal candidate must have appreciable years of relevant experience working for an Australian importer/exporter (fashion goods would be favourable), experience which includes handling shipping and import production activities, excellent computer (including Excel) and communication skills and able to work in a team.
