The Maintenance department at HVO is responsible for carrying out the preventative and breakdown maintenance activities on the following fleet of equipment Electric Draglines, Electric Rope Shovels, Hydraulic Excavators, Dump Trucks, Drill Rigs, Loaders, Dozers, Graders and Ancillary equipment. We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team. Reporting to the Planning Superintendent
, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing the HVO maintenance teams with comprehensive short, long and shutdown maintenance plans and schedules.
- Developing, managing and reporting on maintenance equipment budgets and plans (short and long term) including component tracking.
- Establishing bills of material and tasks lists in the SAP Maintenance system.
- The collection of information and ordering of appropriate resources to enable all scheduled tasks to be completed on time.
- Collating and analysing data, then implementing corrective actions for the purpose of improving machine reliability and availability.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvements which will improve Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), reduce costs and increase the reliability and availability of equipment.
You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Project. A good working knowledge of SAP or similar maintenance management system is highly desirable. Prior experience with maintenance execution, scheduling or planning of heavy mobile equipment and/or fixed plant would be advantageous.
