Workers Paid Wages Owed

INDUSTRIAL relations inspectors have recovered more than $9000 of unpaid wages from employers in The Junction.
Inspectors found 11 employers were failing to keep proper time and wage records, and four were not using pay slips.Among the wages recovered was $2800 for six junior casuals, $1200 for a clerical employee and $1190 for six junior employees.The Office of Industrial Relations visited 24 workplaces in the Newcastle commercial precinct in July.
