Wages in the IT and Telecommunications Industry

Wages in the IT and Telecommunications industry have risen steadily over recent years with the maximum average wages from October 2008 to December 2008 being over $105,000 per annum with the minimum average wages for the same period being $90,000.
This is compare to the three months between January 2008 and March 2008 where the maximum average wages was $101,000 with the minimum wages being $86,000.
According to MyCareer average wages for 2008 the top three earning jobs within the IT and Telecommunications industries were Sales, Management and Supervisory and Architecture. These positions posted average wages earnings of $119,851, $115,536 and $124,929 respectively. Of course, while these are the averages of these jobs wages are impressive there is obviously a wide range, for example Sales jobs in the IT and Telecommunication industry wages range from $30,000 to $300,000 per annum.
Other jobs titles within this industry include Network Engineering (average wages $98,927), Web Design and Usability (average wages $86,009) and Function Consultant (average wages $108,846).
