Wages in Technology Jobs for 2009

Technology jobs wages are thought to experience up to 15% increase over the course of 2009 with specialist skill sets being in high demand at the moment.

However, the majority of technology jobs will most likely see wages rise by 5-8% while technological jobs associated with the financial sector will be the most restrained due to volatility in the sector. Those technological jobs that may be the best of for 2009 may be contractors with demand remaining high for many companies filling technological jobs in the short term.

Jobs within the technology sector are relatively good, although it is professionals with a good understanding of the commercials aspects will be the best off across the sector with many companies wanting IT jobs to be able to understand and work with other aspects of a company's structure.

Jobs across the technology sector are predicted to post some growth, with IT graduate numbers declining somewhat over recent years, resulting in those with experience in the field being in high demand as a result of the skills shortage.
