Wages for the Marketing Industry and Jobs
Wednesday April 8, 2009
Of all the sectors, the Marketing jobs sector has recorded retraction and a significant number of jobs losses, with limited potential for wages growth.
For 2009, wages in the marketing jobs sector should remain relatively steady but restrained in growth due to a majority of companies now restricting their marketing budgets in lieu of the current economic climate. As a result, wages of low to middle level marketing teams and marketing jobs will be limited.
However, this is not necessarily accurate for high level marketing jobs where a great number of companies and corporations aim to retain their staff so help them through the economic crisis and develop strategies to put into place during the recession. High level marketing jobs are able to support business initiatives and assist companies in maintaining a public image in spite of the recession. This means that high level marketing jobs wages will be the strongest across the industry.
