The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) works with the government an d community to make South Australia a vibrant and prosperous state where natural resources are used wisely and a healthy environment underpins a great quality of life.

Members of the community are encouraged to get involved in decisions about how our environment and natural resources should be managed, and to play their part in addressing challenges such as environmental degradation and climate change.

The Communications and Community Engagement Branch is responsible for the development and delivery of DENR’s internal and external communications and community engagement including media, Internet and brand management.

The Senior Community Engagement Adviser is responsible for providing leadership, advice and support to DENR staff about the planning and implementation of policies, programs and activities that involve the public.

Qualifications:  Tertiary qualifications in communications or a related field are desirable.
