The Vacant Position

We are currently looking to find a clinical application specialist that can act as a product specialist on a 12 month contract. Although there atre no guarentees there is a chance this role will become permanent at the end of the year. Essentially what this role involves is 2 fold, one assisting the sales team and being the technical specialist on the products in presales discussions, the second part of the role is being the after sales educator. You will be working closely with your peers in the life science space to a) make sure they are well informed about the product they are considering purchasing, and b) making sure they get the best out of the product once they have it installed. You will be a highly valued team member with a fair amount of time out on the road both meeting new people and revisiting old acquaintance’s. You will need to be comfortable in presenting to large groups and you will be reporting into the WA Customer Service Manager.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with:

Experience Required

For your application to proceed you will need to have a background  in chemistry and an understanding of immunoassay and pathology. There is no set number of years experience required as there will be a lot of training before you get out on the road but you must be confident with your own abilities. You must have appropriate qualifications to back that up and the ideal person will have a history working as a scientist utilising Pathology diagnostic equipment.  You are a motivated individual that wants to be part of a large international company that has a strong presence in Western Australia. You will need to be happy to work some on call hours but this will not be the predominant focus of your position. You will be working in a small and highly trained team.
